How to track
Once you have purchased and generated your label on your eBay account, you will see the tracking number on the "Postage labels page" on your eBay account and the tracking status will be automatically updated as your package progresses through the delivery journey.
This information will also be visible to your buyer on the "Orders" page of their eBay account.
When is my parcel arriving?
The delivery service that you have purchased will have indicated the expected transit time during the quotation process. Deliveries between UK mainland and Northern Ireland, or to remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands, Islands of Scotland or the Isle of Man, may have a longer transit time.
Standard: 2-3 working days (2-3 day)
Express: 1 working day (1-day)
The cut-off time for next-day delivery varies between drop-off locations and delivery services. Please check your nearest drop-off location for this information.
Failed delivery attempts
The courier will make a minimum of one delivery attempt. If a delivery attempt fails, the courier will leave a card at the buyer’s address indicating that they have tried to deliver the parcel.
The courier may leave the parcel in a safe location, if a signature is not required for the delivery. The courier will determine what is considered to be a safe place according to the courier company's policy, or according to what the buyer has requested. This enables a courier to collect or deliver your parcel even if the buyer is not in. Alternatively, the parcel will be taken to a local collection point.
