The service that you are purchasing will have indicated the expected transit time during the quotation process. Deliveries between UK mainland and Northern Ireland, or to remote areas such as the Highlands and Islands of Scotland or the Isle of Man, may have a longer transit time.
The cut-off time for next-day delivery on our 1 day drop off service varies between drop-off locations. Please check your nearest UPS drop-off location for this information - the relevant cut-off time for this service will be displayed as "standard".
Delivering a parcel to a safe place
The courier will determine what is considered to be a safe place according to the carrier company's policy. This enables a courier to collect or deliver your parcel even if the recipient is not in. Typical examples include a shed, greenhouse or porch.
The courier will make a minimum of 2 delivery attempts if required. If a delivery attempt fails, the courier will leave a card at the recipient’s address indicating that they have tried to deliver the item.
